Kuru & Dustmite – Daime Forca
Sep 2011 27

After the success of the SMOG CD Sampler presented by Scion, Dustmite teams up with Los Angeles Producer Kuru to bring you a new take on Dubstep. Daime Forca literally means Give me Strength in Portuguese, and comes from an old Shaman practice in South America. Kuru & Dustmite combine elements of Techno, Tribal, and some good old fashioned high power acid, for an amalgamation needed for Sunrise sets at Burning Man.

If Daime Forca is a magical journey through the cerebral cortex, then Linius is a Psychedelic / 2-step adventure featuring the lyrical Los Angeles Mic warrior Kemst. The song does not take long to get into a groove, so it makes it really easy to mix, and breaks down into some 1960’s Sci-Fi vibes. It works well in the club, and also on the go.
